The Program

There are just over 13,000 beauty supply stores in America with just under 500 of them being black-owned. This means there just over 12,500 stores whose ownership needs to be replaced. But here is the root issue. The black economy struggles. It struggles when there are black businesses that can only attract average black workers because the skilled and degreed black workers take their talents elsewhere to work.

Here is the silver lining. One of the that creates a strong black-owned business despite that challenge is a beauty supply, simply because it is part of a $15 billion industry that has proven to be recession-proof. But in order for us to benefit, we must own these stores (that can independently generate $500,000 to upwards of $1M with the right training) and become “skilled” at it. Good revenues create good jobs created.

About the Program (NEW SCHEDULE!)

• Our 6-week program is delivered in hybrid fashion. You learn live in our training headquarters for 2 weekends over the entire weekend.
• Classes are Saturday 12pm-5pm and Sunday 9am-3pm; giving you enough time to travel from out of town and get back home by Monday morning.
• The live sessions are the first weekend and the 6th weekend. Between those times, you train online. After training online, you will get to intern in our live store Shelly’s Beauty Supply.
