Chicago's Story:
We were elated to have finally broke ground in Chicago! There are hundreds of stores in this city that are not owned by African-Americans. This couple came to our conference, took our training, became store opening clients and decided to break ground in this 2-story location. There were major weather-related and holiday season setbacks but they stayed course and let us successfully take them towards their grand opening. This couple plans to do work in the community as well that encompasses their store. Beauty Supply Institute sees them as great partners in getting business ownership into the hands of more blacks.
