San Diego's Story:
This husband and wife team came to us without attending a conference. Ms. Candace was a bank manager who wanted to get into business ownership and her husband, Mr. Jamal, was in his last year of military service. They attended our Beauty Supply Academy, became clients and the hunt was on to find a location for their store. After getting caught up in the pandemic shutdown, we were still able to get them opened after the delay and multiple hurdles. We expect this store to perform well in their area.

This couple took the leap of faith to compete with the Korean market. The wife is a cosmetologist, while the husband is an engineer. They had difficulty nailing down a location but eventually found one that worked well for them. They came to us in the summer of 2018 and by the winter of 2018, they were opened.

Including lease negotiations, store build-out and everything else between, this store is ready for business by September 2013.
